Highlands County Health Department Dental Clinic Lake Placid. Children's Dental Care of Highlands has three site locations serving the dental needs of children 6 months to 20 years of age. The facilities are located within the Health Department at Avon Park, Sebring and Lake Placid. Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday Services: The Dental Centers all provide a variety of preventive and restorative services which include:dental_boy_in_chair Examinations Cleaning and X-Rays Simple extractions (only baby teeth) Fillings Sealants Eligibility for treatment is based upon income emergency treatment Our target populations are families who are Medicaid eligible and those families without insurance. All patients must go through eligibility before being seen for treatment. ALL PATIENTS MUST CHECK WITH ELIGIBILITY BEFORE TREATMENT IS BEGUN.
